Sitters and Company’s Raleigh/Durham market owners Jay and Eileen Bucklen have a long history of caring for and teaching children.  Moreover, as parents themselves, they have an intimate understanding of what it means to provide quality, reliable child care. 

Jay and Eileen have lived in the Raleigh/Durham area for over twenty years and have been married for over ten.  Each has a strong commitment to the community and to its youth. 

Jay, a North Carolina State University business graduate, has worked with children for over ten years as a competitive swim coach and managed numerous young adults in his previous position as a manager of the neighborhood pool. 

Eileen has been a professional nanny for children of all ages in the local area for more than fifteen years.  Prior to her career as a nanny, she worked for two respectable day care centers.  For years, Eileen has been the unofficial source for local parents searching for qualified, caring sitters for both short and long-term jobs in the Raleigh/Durham area.  Now, as a Sitters & Company market owner, she will bring her experience and expertise to even more deserving families.
